  • What to Expect?

    KinFix Health + Fitness is your one stop shop for all of your health and fitness needs. 

    No need to google "Halifax fitness near me" or "Halifax gym" any longer.

     At Kinfix Health and Fitness you will be extremely happy with our classes from the very beginning. We have great diversity in classes from strength to yoga to pilates. There is something for everyone. We create a friendly, welcoming and fun sense of community where ALL FITNESS LEVELS are welcome. Whether you are getting up from your busy work desk for the first time in 3 months, are a few months or years postpartum or are coming back for your second class of the day, we welcome you!


    All fitness classes and yoga/pilates are tailored with modifications to suit all fitness levels.


    Our Health clinic also welcomes all variations of clientele ranging from athletes, pregnant mothers, geriatric population, youth and more!


    All are welcome and sure to enjoy the community vibe!


  • When should I arrive for class:

    Doors open 15 mins before your class time. 

    Please arrive 5-15 minutes before class. If it is your first time, please give yourself plenty of time to get acquainted with the studio and instructor. If there is a class in progress when you arrive, feel free to wait quietly in our seating area. Please be mindful of clinic patients and noise as there may be treatment in session. 


  • Is there parking on site?

    We have parking in the back of the building (enter to the left of the building) we have spots available on a first come, first serve basis. There is also a parking lot out front of Mary Browns as well as street parking.

  • Which class is best for beginners?

    All of our classes are accessible for all levels - instructors will give lots of modifications for increased or decreased intensity. 

    Please let our instructors know that you are beginner and they will assist you wherever you need extra guidance 

    We also offer 1-on-1 sessions for special injuries or to get your footing before being comfortable for being in a group setting.

  • What do I need to bring with me?

    For fitness classes we encourage comfortable sneakers (indoor only please), a water bottle, a sweat towel for when things get spicy and whatever clothes you are most comfortable in. 

    For yoga/ pilates classes they are barefoot and we encourage you to bring your own mat. We have our own on site for rental if necessary. Blocks and props will be provided.


  • Do you have mats available?

    Yes, we have mats available on site for rent of $2 each!

  • Do you have showers on site?

    Yes, we have a shower on site, first come first serve basis. We also have complimentary towels and bathing supplies.

  • Do I need to book in advance?

    Yes, we highly recommend booking in advance as spots are limited. You can schedule your classes on our website and through our mindbody booking app. You will receive reminder emails on classes so that you will not forget!

  • How does the waitlist work?

    If a class is full we encourage you to join the waitlist! The waitlists always move quickly (especially on weekend classes!) 

    Payment is required to join the waitlist - if you do not make it into the class or cancel beforehand the credit will remain on your account for later use. 

    If a spot opens up more than 5 hours before the class you will receive a text/ email letting you know that you were added to the class.


  • What is the cancellation policy?

    We are sad to hear you cannot make your class! Do not stress - you are required to cancel your class at least 4 hours before your class starts to give people on the waitlist a chance to be notified that a spot has become available and to respect studio etiquette. Late cancellations (less than 4 hours prior to class starting) will be charged $10, no shows will be charged $20 for unlimited members and a loss of a class for class pass holders.
